People have been skating Nike shoes since the dawn of time, but it wasn't until 1996 that they actually started to make skateboarding specific shoes. Their first 3 models, The Choad, Snak and the Schimp ,did not do too well on the market, so Nike pulled out of skateboarding.

After their third attempt at Nike SB in 2001 they seemed to have got it right. Now making it one of the most popular brands in skateboarding, with one of the most stacked teams of all time, including skaters like Ishod Wair, Grant Taylor, Didrik Galasso, Mason Silva, Leo Baker, Hjalte Halberg, Hayley Wilson and many more Nike is a staple in brand in skateboarding with great quality soft goods.
