Founded by Pontus Alv (of Polar Skate Co.) and Sami Tolppi in Sweden, Last Resort AB might be the last of the independently owned skateboard shoe brands. As they state, "we don't have any corporate backing, no one telling us what to do and neither should you." With a team including Chris Milic, Nick Rios, Jesse Alba, Aaron Loreth, David Strenstrom, Dane Brady, Paul Grund, Frankie Decker and Kiki Kakitani, LRAB is focused on making skateable, fashionable shoes that stand apart from the rest of the shoe wall.
